Century Overseas

Up on the third floor of Block-3 in Ramesh Nagar, that is where we stay busy. Being in a place like New Delhi, especially in a crowded area like 3/18, means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the rickshaws and the vendors down on the street all day long. Century Overseas has been operating from this third-floor space for some time, and while the climb up the stairs can be a bit tiring in the summer heat, it’s our home. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and documents tucked into every corner, but we know where everything is. It’s a typical Delhi setup where every inch of space is used for something important. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, trying to ignore the noise from the neighbors or the construction happening nearby. The air conditioning is our best friend during the months of May and June, otherwise, it would be hard to get anything done at all. We often order lunch from the small eateries nearby because the food in Ramesh Nagar is actually quite good. It’s a fast-paced environment, and sometimes things get a little chaotic with people coming in and out, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels real and grounded, just like the busy streets outside our windows where everyone is rushing to get somewhere.
