Our company, Buildtrust Construction Private Limited, is run out of H.No.-A-94 in Shankar Garden, which is over in Vikaspuri. West Delhi is a busy place, and Shankar Garden is a nice residential pocket where we’ve set up our base. The office is actually part of a house, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a cold corporate building. We spend our time managing different construction jobs, mostly helping folks build or fix up their homes. It’s a lot of coordination between suppliers and workers, and things don't always go perfectly. We’ve had our fair share of rainy days where everything has to stop, or trucks that get lost finding the address. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy logo on the wall. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or friends of people we’ve worked for before. We just try to be fair and get the work finished as best as we can. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and receipts scattered around, but we know where everything is. We like being in Vikaspuri because we know the local markets and where to get the best materials for a good price. It’s just a small local operation, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the job at hand and move on to the next one once it’s sorted.
