If you look for Auto Merchandising Inc., you’ll find us at Type-Ii/51 in the Press Colony over in Mayapuri. It’s an interesting area because you have all the residential units mixed in with the industrial stuff. Our place isn’t anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle all our merchandising stuff. We spend a lot of our time dealing with parts and inventory, so the place often looks like a bit of a warehouse. It’s a hands-on kind of job, and we don’t mind getting our hands dirty when we need to. The neighborhood is full of people who are also just trying to make a living, so it feels like a good fit for us. We don’t have a big polished front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door is the one who helps you out. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the delivery drivers by name. The pace can be pretty fast some days, especially when a big load comes in or goes out. We just try to keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. It’s a simple operation, and we don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We’re just here in Mayapuri, doing our thing every day and hoping for the best for our small crew.
