Aries Foods & Fruits

Running Aries Foods & Fruits from our spot at 3E/1, East Patel Nagar is a daily exercise in making space where there isn't much. The building is older, and we have spent a lot of years here, so we know every creak in the floor. Most mornings start around five when the trucks pull up. There’s a lot of shouting and moving crates of fruit around, and honestly, it can get pretty loud for the neighbors. We try to keep things tidy, but when you are dealing with fresh food, there is always a bit of a mess to clean up. The office upstairs is where we handle the orders, and it’s usually piled high with folders and half-empty tea cups. It isn't a corporate setup at all. We are just a small team trying to get the produce out to the people who need it. Some days the humidity makes everything feel slower, and other days we are rushing just to keep up with the phone calls. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just talk to our suppliers and make sure the deliveries go to the right address. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes we get the paperwork mixed up, but we fix it eventually. It’s just how things go in this part of town. Nothing fancy, just a group of people working in a small space in Patel Nagar trying to keep things going.
