Our setup for Anurag Contractors is located in Village Lachhmipur. It is over in the Tola-Lachhmipur area, specifically at Dhirendra Roy’s place. Being in a village like this, things move at their own pace. We are not a big corporate firm with a glass building. We are just a local contracting outfit that handles building jobs and various repairs around the area. Life here in the panchayat is simple, and so is the way we work. We get our instructions, gather the materials, and get to the site. Most of the people working here are from around these parts, so we all know the local conditions and what works best for the soil and the weather here. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get certain supplies that are not available in the village, but we manage. Dhirendra helps keep things organized. We do not have a website or anything like that; people just know where to find us when they need work done. We do things the old-fashioned way, mostly. It is a lot of physical work, especially during the harvest season when some of the guys have to help out on their farms too. But we always get back to the construction tasks as soon as we can. We have been part of this community for a long time and we just keep doing what we know, which is building and fixing things.
