The township has its own pace, and being at C 23 gives us a bit more room to breathe. The office is set up in a way that’s very functional. We have the usual stuff like computers, a big shared table for meetings, and some metal cabinets for all the records. It’s not a place that was designed by an architect; we just moved the furniture around until it fit right. We spend our days answering emails and looking over figures. Sometimes the neighbors from the township stop by just to say hello or to ask for a bit of advice on their documents. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a polished reception desk. When you walk in, you just see people working. The windows look out onto the township streets, and it’s usually pretty calm. We try to keep a regular schedule, though sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on. It’s a straightforward environment where the focus is just on the daily tasks. We’ve become a part of the local scenery here over the years and we like the simple routine. There is always a stack of papers to get through, but we manage.
