Ananya Media

Ananya Media is based at Ec-115 in the G8 Area of Maya Enclave, right in Hari Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood, which we like. The office is basically a converted room that we’ve filled with our gear. We do a lot of local media work. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. There’s a small balcony where we go to take breaks and look at the street below. Hari Nagar is a busy place, but our little corner is somewhat calm. We handle things like video editing and some graphic stuff. The computers are a bit old, but they still do the job. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when we do, we usually just sit in the kitchen area to talk. It’s very informal. We’ve been here at Ec-115 for a while now. The neighbors know us as the people who are always carrying cameras or tripods in and out. We don’t really have a set schedule; we just work until the job is done. Some days we are out on the field, and other days we are stuck inside all day. It’s a simple setup, and it fits what we do. We aren't a big firm with secretaries and fancy lobbies. Just a small group doing our best with what we have. It’s a practical way to run a business.
