We’ve been set up here at Flat No 1 in Solanki Apartments for a while now. It’s on the second floor, so there are a few stairs to climb every morning. Being in Matiala Extension, specifically Uttam Nagar, means things stay pretty busy outside our door. Most of the team knows the local tea stall around the corner by heart. We handle the American Express India Pvt Ltd operations from this particular spot. It’s not a fancy glass building, just a regular apartment converted into an office space where we get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the traffic in West Delhi makes it a bit of a challenge to get here on time, but we manage. The office itself is cozy. We have our desks crammed in, and there's always someone talking on the phone. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing here. It’s more about checking the lists, finishing the paperwork, and making sure everything is filed where it belongs. There’s a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle going for the afternoon tea. Most days involve a lot of screen time and organizing physical files. The neighborhood is full of small shops and people going about their business, which gives the place a real local feel. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. This is just where we work and where the job gets finished. If you walk past the Solanki building, you might see some of us heading out for lunch. It’s a practical setup for the work we do.
