If you find yourself in Vikas Puri, New Delhi, you might come across our place at F 230 on the ground floor. This is the Delhi headquarters for Alkem Laboratories Ltd. It’s not one of those massive skyscrapers you see in some parts of the city. We are on the ground level, which makes it easy for people to drop in and for deliveries to get sorted. The 110018 area is pretty residential in parts, but we fit right in. Inside, it’s a mix of desks, phones ringing, and stacks of documents that need filing. We don't have a fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we manage the local operations and keep things running for the company. The traffic in Delhi is always a topic of conversation here, especially during the rainy season when things slow down. We have a small team, and everyone knows everyone else’s name. It isn't overly formal. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the internet goes slow, or the printer jams, and we just deal with it. We aren't here to put on a show; we are here to handle the day-to-day business of the Delhi office without making a big deal about it.
