Akeda Foundations

Akeda Foundations is over at House Number 17 (B) in Sector A of Aoyimti. We are on Lane 5, which is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main roads. The office is really just a part of the house that we’ve set aside for business. We do foundation work, so a lot of our life involves dirt, cement, and measuring things out in the field. It’s a small operation. We have a few local guys who help out, and we all know each other well. The office has a couple of benches and a table where we keep the site plans. It’s not the kind of place that’s been decorated by a professional. We have some tools leaning against the wall and a lot of boots near the door because we’re always coming in from outside. Aoyimti is a good place to be based, even if it’s a bit out of the way for some. We like the pace here. Most of our work is done through word of mouth, so we don't really bother with advertisements or a big public image. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay busy. It’s a simple setup with no corporate layers or complicated hierarchies. If you need to talk to someone, you just come by the lane and knock on the door. It’s been our way of doing things for quite a while now and we enjoy it. Each foundation is just another job to get right.
