Ajay Saloon

The saloon is located at CN-917 in Kirti Nagar. We are right near Chunna Bhatti, so there is always a lot of dust and activity from the industrial side of things. Kirti Nagar is a busy place, and our street is no exception. The shop has a big glass front, but we have to clean it every morning because of the soot from the nearby businesses. Inside, we have the usual setup with the big mirrors and the adjustable chairs. The leather on one of the chairs is cracked, but it’s still comfortable. We get a lot of workers from the area who come in for a quick trim after their shifts. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have fancy music or anything, just the sound of the clippers and maybe the radio playing in the background. The floor is a dark tile that hides the hair pretty well until we sweep it up. We’ve got a small cupboard where we keep the towels. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. People like to talk about their work or the local politics while they sit in the chair. It’s a friendly enough place, even if it looks a bit rough around the edges. We’ve been in this spot near Chunna Bhatti for a long time. It’s just how things are here in this part of town. We keep a jar for tips on the main counter by the door.
