Ahuja Tents & Decorators

Ahuja Tents & Decorators is based at the Janakpuri Community Center, T 222. Being located right at the community center means we are always in the middle of whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Our storeroom is packed with iron poles, rolls of colorful fabric, and strings of lights that we’ve used for hundreds of events over the years. It’s heavy work, moving all that stuff around, and my hands are usually a bit calloused from tying ropes and hauling gear. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that; we usually just meet people right here or out where the event is going to be. Most of our clients are just neighbors or people who saw our work at a local function and asked for our number. We’ve been doing this in Janakpuri for a long time, so we know how to handle the weather and the local space constraints. Sometimes the wind picks up and we have to go out and secure the tents in the middle of the night, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t have a big mission or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure that when someone rents a tent from us, it stays up and looks decent for their party. It’s a practical business and we take pride in just getting the job done right every time.
