Afg Saloon Ladies Gents

We are right in the middle of the action at Choti Subzi Mandi in Janakpuri. Our shop, Afg Saloon Ladies Gents, is at No-17/9, and you can’t miss us if you’re near the Gurudwara. Being in the vegetable market means it’s always loud and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We handle both men and women, so the shop is usually a mix of different people getting their hair cut or styled. It’s a busy little place with chairs lined up and mirrors that have definitely seen better days. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always walking around with a broom to keep it tidy. We’ve got various shampoos and creams on the shelves, and we just use what we know works for the people in this neighborhood. Janakpuri is a tight community, and we feel like a part of it. We hear all the local gossip and news while we work on customers. It’s not a fancy salon with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and wait your turn on the bench. We do our best to keep everyone moving so nobody is waiting too long. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to everyone around here. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now and plan to stay for a lot longer.
