You can find A4 Brothers Construction over at Plot No 44 in the Extension Block K of Gopal Nagar. We’re tucked away in Gali Zimwali, near Najafgarh. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and the office is pretty much what you’d expect from a local builder—lots of paperwork, some samples of flooring, and the smell of tea brewing. Najafgarh is a bit far out, so we handle a lot of the local work in this part of Delhi. We don’t have a fancy office with glass walls; we just have a solid desk and some chairs for when people come to talk about their building plans. Most of our day is spent on the phone or driving out to the plots to see how the foundations are coming along. It’s a lot of coordinating with different people, from the bricklayers to the electricians. We don't use a lot of big business talk. We just focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the materials are good and the labor is doing what they’re supposed to. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or transport issues, and we just have to deal with it. We’re honest about what we can do and we try to keep things simple. It’s about building something that lasts and making sure the people who hired us are satisfied with the result. We just keep working hard and stay busy with the local projects.
