A. V. V. Engineering Co. operates out of 6/139 in Subhash Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet street most of the time, though you get the usual neighborhood sounds like the vegetable vendors passing by or neighbors chatting near the gate. Our setup here is quite humble. We’ve turned this space into a working engineering shop where we handle various small-scale projects and repairs. It’s not a large factory by any means, but we have the tools we need and a small, dedicated group of people who have been with us for years. Subhash Nagar has a very local, community feel to it, and we like that. We aren't tucked away in some anonymous industrial estate where you don't know your neighbors. People know us here. The office part of the building is just a small desk with a few ledgers and a computer that’s seen better days. We spend more time in the back where the actual work happens. There’s always a bit of iron filings on the floor and the smell of oil in the air, which is exactly how an engineering shop should be. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes we take a break for chai and sit out front for a bit before getting back to the machines. It’s a simple life, and we are quite content with how we run things here at 6/139, just doing our job.
