9 SQUARE INFRASTRUCTURE N CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED

Our place is on the upper ground floor of P N R-2B, specifically on the right side of Block-R Old in West Delhi. It’s a bit of a climb up the short flight of stairs, but it gives us a good view of the street. The office is usually filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of the ceiling fan. We spend a lot of our mornings looking over blueprints and calling up various contractors. West Delhi is a busy place to do construction, with so many people renovating or building new floors. We started 9 Square just to handle the local infrastructure needs. We don't have a receptionist or fancy coffee machines. Usually, it's just us sitting around a table with a map of the current site spread out. We talk about things like the quality of the rebar or how long the curing will take. It’s very much a hands-on type of business. We’re often out at the sites more than we are in the office anyway. Dealing with the local authorities and the neighbors is part of the job, and it’s not always easy. We just try to stay organized and keep the projects moving along as best as we can. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong, but we just find a way to fix it and move on to the next task. It is mostly about keeping the workers focused and the supplies coming.
