Our office is at F/449 in Karam Pura, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but we make it work for everything we need to do. The neighborhood is always buzzing with activity, and you can hear the sounds of the street even through the walls. We have a few desks crammed into the main room and a small area for filing. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it serves its purpose. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on the high setting, which is almost all the time during the summer. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing away at old keyboards. There are plenty of tea stains on the desks from the many cups we drink throughout the shift. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. It feels like a very local business because we are right there in the middle of the residential area. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. Everything we do is managed from this little spot in Karam Pura. We don't have any fancy signs out front, just the door at F/449. It's a simple life and we just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks without too much fuss or any unnecessary noise.
