Taha Hardware

Taha Hardware is based in Narayanapur, right in the Ramnagar area. We are located near the rice mill. You can usually smell the grain in the air when the wind blows the right way. It’s a dusty spot, but that’s normal for a hardware place. We’ve got a lot of items packed into the shop. Nails, tools, pipes, and all sorts of things people need for their houses. It’s a bit messy because there’s so much stuff, but we know where the important things are kept. We open early because people around here start their work with the sun. It’s a local place. Most of our customers are neighbors or people from the nearby villages. We don’t have a computer system that’s very advanced. We mostly write things down in a big ledger with a blue pen. Sometimes we forget where we put the pen and have to hunt for it. It’s a relaxed atmosphere though. We talk to whoever comes in, usually about the weather or how the crops are doing this season. The rice mill keeps things busy nearby with trucks coming and going all day. We just stay in our corner and hand out the supplies people need. It’s been this way for years. We don’t see a reason to change much. If you need something for a repair, you just come and ask. We probably have it buried under something else. It’s just a hardware shop, plain and simple for everyone.
