Birla Group Of Sugar Industries has its office here in Narkatiaganj, Bihar. We are located C/O Dinanath Pd. Gupta, which is a local name most people around here might recognize. The pin code is 845455. It’s a very rural, practical setting because that is where the sugar business is. We don’t have a big corporate park or anything. It’s just a simple building where we manage the local side of the sugar operations. Narkatiaganj is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so our office feels more like a part of the community than a big business branch. We deal with the local farmers and the transport stuff that comes with the sugar industry. The office inside is basic—some old wooden desks, a few cupboards for files, and always some tea being made. It gets quite busy during the crushing season, with people coming in and out all the time. Outside of that, it’s a bit more relaxed. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the sugar gets processed and moved out on time. It’s hard work and it can be messy, but it’s what we do here in Bihar. It’s just a normal day for us, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the gears turning as best as we can.
