Spirut Spices Llp

Spirut Spices LLP is run out of the Vadakkan Machingal house in Pozhuthana. That’s in the Vythiri region of Wayanad. We use Sabira’s place as our base of operations. Spices are a big deal in this part of Kerala, so it felt right to start something here. We don’t have a big factory or a shiny office. It’s just a room in a house where we keep our records and manage our day-to-day tasks. Dealing with spices means we are always thinking about quality and sourcing. We spend a lot of time on the road, meeting with people who grow the stuff. Then we come back here to handle the business side. It’s a lot of paperwork, which isn't the most fun part, but it’s necessary for an LLP. We aren't corporate types. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. The weather in Pozhuthana can be quite damp, which isn't always great for storage, so we have to be very careful with everything. We just take things as they come and try to grow the business slowly. There aren't any grand plans for world domination here. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing and stay connected to the local agriculture. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours, and we’re proud of the work we put in every day. Sometimes it's exhausting, but we wouldn't want to be doing anything else right now.
