Suman Book Depot And Xerox Center

Our shop is Suman Book Depot and Xerox Center, and you can find us in Shahapur right in front of Saraswati Vidyalaya. It is a busy little spot, especially when the school is starting or letting out for the day. We spend most of our time between the bookshelves and the xerox machines. The machines are almost always running, and they give off that warm, ozone smell that fills up the front of the shop. We have stacks of notebooks, different kinds of pens, and all the usual things students need for their classes. It gets quite loud with the kids shouting outside, but we don't mind it much. We have been in this location for a good many years now. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific textbook someone is asking for. We do a lot of photocopying for the teachers too. It is a simple business, really. We open up early to catch the morning rush and stay until things quiet down in the evening. There is usually a bit of paper dust on the counters, and the floor has seen better days, but it is a comfortable place for us. We know most of the people in Shahapur who walk by every morning. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just focus on the people who walk through the door looking for a pen or some copies.
