Msp Steel & Power Ltd, Jamgaon

Over in Jamgaon, Msp Steel & Power Ltd has a presence at Qtr No 2304 in Lloyds Colony. This is in Ghugus, within the Chandrapur district. Being in a colony means we are right in the middle of where people live. It’s a residential feel but we do our business from here. The office is really just a modified living space. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. We deal with the steel and power logistics for this part of the region. Chandrapur is known for being one of the hottest places, so we mostly stay indoors during the peak afternoon hours. There is a lot of coal and dust in the air around Ghugus, so we are always cleaning our desks. We have a small group of people working here. It’s very informal. We might be checking a shipment list one minute and talking to a neighbor the next. There aren't any corporate uniforms or strict rules about how we sit. We just need to get the records done. We keep a close eye on the Jamgaon operations from this little quarter. It is practical and low-key. We have a small stove for making tea and that’s about it for amenities. It is just a regular job in a industrial town. We don't try to be anything else. Every day is pretty much like the one before it and we like that just fine.
