Laxmikant Agro Trading (Opc) Private Limited is based out here in Palora. It’s a small village in the Armori area of Gadchiroli. If you are looking for us, we are in Ward No. 1, which is pretty easy to find once you get into the main part of the town. We are right by the Shioni post office. Being in a place like this means we are surrounded by farms and people who actually work the land, which makes sense for what we do with agro trading. It’s quiet out here compared to the big cities, but during harvest time, things get really active. We spend a lot of our time talking to local farmers and figuring out how to get their produce to the right places. The office isn't anything special, just a room where we keep our books and take meetings. We mostly focus on what’s happening in the local fields. It’s honest work and we’ve lived in this region for a long time, so we know most of the families around Ward 1. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, so we do a lot of business face-to-face. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything, we just want to make sure the trading goes smoothly for everyone involved in the village. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy enough from sunrise to sunset, and we like the pace of it.
