Black Aroma

You can find us over at Hindustan Lal Pet Colony, Kautar No. 269. The shop is called Black Aroma and the smell usually lets people know they are close before they even see the sign. We deal with a lot of different bags and jars every day. It’s not a huge place, just a regular building in the colony where we keep things organized the best we can. Some days are slower than others. We spend time checking the stock and making sure everything is sealed up right. The floor is made of old tile and there is always a bit of dust near the door from the street. We’ve got a small counter where we talk to folks who wander in. Most of the people around here know us by name now. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood except when the school nearby lets out. We don’t use any complicated systems to track things, just a notebook and some pens. Sometimes we run out of a certain item and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive at the colony. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in and we have to pile the crates up high. We just move things around until there is a path to walk again. It’s just us here, keeping the place running and making sure the jars are full.
