Yakaiah Milk Roducts is a small operation located at H. No -69 in Kummarikuntla, Narsimhulapet. Our day starts way before the sun is even up, usually around four in the morning. That’s when the milk starts coming in. We handle the collection and the processing of the milk into different products right here. The house is always busy with the sound of cans clanking and the water running as we clean the equipment. It is a very rural setting, and we are surrounded by the sights and smells of the countryside. There is no corporate structure here; it’s mostly family and a few helpers from the village. We deal with fresh milk, so there is no time to sit around or be lazy. If the milk isn't handled fast, it goes bad, especially in the summer heat of Narsimhulapet. We don't have fancy cooling tanks like the big city dairies, just the basic stuff that works for us. The walls are simple, and we don't have any posters or mission statements hanging up. People from Kummarikuntla know us by name, and they just walk up to the door when they need something. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy cans and scrubbing floors, but it’s what we’ve always done. We don't try to act like we are bigger than we are. We're just locals making dairy products for the neighborhood.
