Vinoda Travels

If you are looking for our place, we are over in Saptagiri Colony, specifically at H. No 31-03-677. It’s a quiet spot in Komatipally, out in Hasanparthy. We started Vinoda Travels because we had a couple of cars and knew the roads around here well. Now we spend most of our time on the phone or checking the schedules for the drivers to make sure they are on time. It gets pretty hectic during wedding season or when there’s a big holiday, because everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. The office is just a simple room with a few chairs and a desk where we keep the paper logs. We mostly deal with local trips, taking families to the station or maybe out to the temples nearby. Sometimes we do longer runs if someone needs to get to the city for work or a doctor visit. The cars need a lot of maintenance, so there’s always someone checking the oil or cleaning the seats between trips. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes a driver is late because of traffic, and that's just how it goes on these roads. My nephew helps with the bookings when he’s not at college in the afternoons. We don’t do a lot of advertising, mostly it’s just people telling their neighbors about us. It’s a decent living and we get to meet a lot of different people from around Hasanparthy every day.
