Swathi Traders is right in the middle of the Enumamula Market in Warangal. If you know the market, you know it is a place that never really sleeps. We are surrounded by other traders and farmers bringing in their goods every single day. It is loud, dusty, and very busy, especially during the peak seasons. Our space is mostly used for storing bags and containers of whatever we are trading at the time. We spend most of our mornings negotiating and talking to people who come through the market gates. There is a lot of manual labor involved, like loading and unloading trucks under the hot sun. We don't have a quiet office; our desk is usually just a corner of the warehouse where we keep our ledgers. The floor is often covered in bits of grain or dust from the market floor. It is an honest way to make a living, even if it is exhausting. We have been operating in Warangal for years, and we have seen the market grow and change. Sometimes the prices fluctuate and things get stressful, but we just keep moving forward. We aren't looking to become some corporate giant. We just want to keep our spot in the market and make sure we have enough work to keep us going. It is a gritty, real-world business where you have to be ready for anything.
