Swapna Kumari Travels

Our office is at 1-13 in Pegadapally, which is part of the Hasanaparthy area. Swapna Kumari Travels is basically a small operation where we help people get where they need to go. We have a couple of buses and some smaller vehicles that we use for trips and daily commutes. My wife handles a lot of the phone calls while I’m usually out checking on the drivers or looking at the engines. Traveling can be a real headache with the traffic and the bad roads, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge, just a few chairs outside the house where people can sit while they wait for their ride. Sometimes the buses break down and we have to scramble to find a replacement, which is always stressful. We know the routes around here like the back of our hands. People from the village come to us when they have a wedding or a big family trip planned. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants to go home. We just stay here in Pegadapally and do our best to keep the wheels turning. It’s a simple life, mostly spent looking at maps and checking oil levels.
