Shravan Dental Clinic

Shravan Dental Clinic is located right in Pochamaidan, directly opposite Saidiya Maszid. If you live in this part of town, you've probably walked past our sign a dozen times. It’s a small place, mostly just the dental chair and the various equipment we need for teeth. People usually aren't too happy to be here because, well, it’s the dentist. We hear the sound of the drill a lot, and it makes some folks a bit nervous when they're sitting in the waiting room. We try to keep things simple. The walls are a plain white color, and we have a sink that drips sometimes if you don't turn the handle off just right. We do everything from cleaning teeth to pullings and fillings. It’s a lot of staring into mouths all day. The light over the chair is really bright, which is necessary but a bit much for some people's eyes. We get kids who are scared and older folks who just want to get the appointment over with. Being across from the Maszid means we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which provides a nice rhythm to the afternoon. We aren't a big corporate chain with dozens of offices. It’s just a local spot where we know a lot of the families who come in. We keep our tools clean and our schedule as tight as we can, though things often take longer than expected with dental work.
