Shalini Travels

I run Shalini Travels from my house, which is H. No. 2-8-292 in the Waddepally area of Hanamkonda. It is a decent-sized place and I have been here for quite some years. Usually, I am the one answering the phone when people call looking for a car to take them somewhere. Hanamkonda is a busy place, and Waddepally has its own crowd too. Most of the trips I handle are for local families or people needing to get to the station or a nearby town for a function. I do not have a big fleet of cars, just a few that I make sure are running okay. The traffic around here can get stuck quite bad in the evenings, especially near the main road, so I always tell people to start a bit early. My house is easy to find if you are in the neighborhood. I spend a lot of time just sitting on the porch waiting for the next booking to come through. Sometimes it is quiet for a couple of days, and then suddenly everyone wants to travel at once. I do not use any big advertisements or anything. Most people just find out about me through word of mouth or seeing the cars parked outside the house. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and I like being my own boss. There is no boss breathing down my neck, just the road and the next trip to plan.
