Sai Ram Internet & Xerox

Our little shop is right here in Naikpally, Gudur, at House Number 1-5. It’s a small place, but we keep it running from early morning until late. We’ve got the computers set up for people who need to use the internet, and the Xerox machine is usually going all day long. In a village like Naikpally, people always need copies of their papers or help with some online form. The machine can be a bit temperamental sometimes, especially if it gets too dusty, so we’re always cleaning it. It’s not a big corporate center, just a local spot where neighbors come by. Sometimes people just hang out for a bit while they wait for their prints. We also do some basic things like scanning and maybe a bit of typing if someone really needs it. The space isn't very big, so it can get crowded if three or four people are waiting at once. We try to keep the fans on to keep it cool, but the heat in Gudur is no joke. We’ve been here for a good while and know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s a simple life, just helping out with what people need for their schoolwork or government documents. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit on the bench outside until it comes back. Sai Ram Internet & Xerox is basically just a part of the daily routine for most people living around here.
