Raju Farming Goats

We are located out in Kothur, in the Khanapur area near Warangal. Our place is H. No 1-27. It’s a farm, so there is always work to be done from sunrise until it gets dark. We mainly look after the goats. It’s a lot of responsibility because they need constant attention, especially with their feed and health. The farm isn't a big industrial operation. It’s just our family and a couple of helpers. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in the sheds. It gets very hot here in Warangal, so we have to make sure the animals stay cool and have enough water. We’ve lived in Kothur for a long time, and everyone knows us as the goat people. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. If someone wants to see the goats, they just come down to the house. We deal with local buyers and other farmers in the Khanapur region. It’s a messy job sometimes, cleaning out the pens and moving hay around. There aren't any holidays when you have animals to take care of. We just do the work that needs doing. The goats are healthy and we take pride in how we raise them. It’s a quiet life, away from the city noise. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the farm. That’s how it’s always been for us, and we like the routine of the farm life.
