Radhika Travels

Our office is right on Ambedkar Street in Mulug, at house number 5-138. It’s a small room but it works for what we do. Radhika Travels isn't some big corporate chain with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure people can get their trips sorted out. Mulug is a nice area, and we get all sorts of people walking in. Some are looking to go to the city, others are planning longer trips. I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps. The walls are a bit bare, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We have a small cooler for water because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes the street outside gets really noisy with all the motorbikes and people talking, but you get used to it. I like hearing the local gossip while I work. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our customers come because their cousin or neighbor told them about us. Word of mouth is how we stay busy. I try to be honest about times and costs because I have to see these people at the market every week. If I tell someone a bus is leaving at six, I do my best to make sure it happens. It's just a local business trying to help the community move.
