The Meeseva And Online Applications Centre is located right in Kamalapur at house number 10-98. It is a small room with a few computers and a printer that seems to jam way too often. People come in all day long with their papers and folders. They need things for school, or land records, or they just need to pay a utility bill. It gets really crowded when the government opens up a new application scheme. We try to keep the line moving, but sometimes the server is just down and everyone has to sit around and wait. Kamalapur is a busy little spot. We hear the motorbikes going by outside all day. The light from the screens is a bit hard on the eyes after eight hours, but we have gotten used to it. We help with whatever form is on the screen at the moment. Most people are not sure which button to click or how to upload a digital photo, so we handle that part for them. There is always a stack of photocopies sitting on the desk. It is not a fancy corporate office. It is just a shop with a blue sign where you can get your online work finished. We have been here in this building for some time now. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait in the dark until it comes back.
