Balu Inter Net Shop

If you come to Seethangar, you’ll find us at house number 6-28. Balu Inter Net Shop is not a big place, just a few computers lined up against the walls and a couple of printers that sometimes get jammed when we are busy. The room is a bit small and it gets crowded when more than three or four people come in at once to check their results or print out some forms. We spend a lot of time helping people who don't know how to use the mouse or fill in those long online applications. The fans hum all day and the chairs are those plastic ones that are okay but not great for sitting a long time. There are always cables running across the floor that we try to keep out of the way. It stays pretty warm inside because of the heat from the machines. We usually have the door open to get some air from the street, but then the dust comes in. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to call the provider and wait for them to fix it while customers get annoyed. It’s just part of the job. We keep a stack of paper and some extra ink bottles on the shelf behind the main desk. It’s a simple shop for the local people in the colony to get their work done. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the kids around here come to us for school projects.
