Beebamma Farms

Beebamma Farms is just me working out of H.No:-3-84 in Kothur. This little spot is in Khanapur. My family has been in this part of Warangal for a long time. I don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. My work happens in the dirt and under the sky. Every morning starts the same way with a cup of tea before I head out. There is always a fence to mend or a patch of ground that needs clearing. Living in Kothur is quiet, which I like. The neighbors at the other houses know me by name. We talk about the rain and the crops over the fences. My house at 3-84 isn't much to look at, but it's where we keep everything. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things. You plant, you wait, and you hope for the best weather. The tractor makes a lot of noise and sometimes it doesn't want to start on cold mornings. My hands have plenty of scars from the years of labor. It’s a physical life. I don’t have any big promises to give anyone. I just do my best with what I’ve got each season. The dust from the road gets everywhere when the trucks go by. That’s just part of living in Khanapur. It’s a real way to live, even if it’s exhausting. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I wasn't farming.
