Bandela Sammakka

Bandela Sammakka is over in Katrepally, which is in the Sangem area. This part of the Haveli is where we have been for a good while. It is a simple place with trees and open spaces around the houses. We do our work without making too much noise about it. Most of our days are spent right here at the address, seeing to whatever needs to be done. Sangem is a place where people value honesty and a good day of labor. We do not have any big corporate ideas about how to run things. We just do what needs doing and try to be fair with everyone. The roads can be a bit bumpy around here but people still make the trip. We usually have a bit of tea and talk about the crops or the weather before getting down to business. It is a slow way of working compared to the city, but it suits us just fine. There is no need to hurry when the work is going to be there tomorrow anyway. We have seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Some things change but the way we treat our neighbors stays about the same. It is a humble existence and we do not ask for much more than that. Just a steady flow of work and enough time to sit on the porch in the evening.
