Vidya Jyothi Degree & Pg College

Vidya Jyothi Degree & Pg College is right on the Main Road over in Ghanpur Station, which is in the Warangal area. Being near the station means there’s always people coming and going nearby. It’s a bit different from a primary school because we’re dealing with older students who are working on their degrees and PG courses. The building is quite prominent on the Main Road, so it’s hard to miss when you're passing by. We have a lot of young adults from the surrounding villages and towns coming here every day. Some take the bus and some come by train. The atmosphere is a bit more serious, I guess, with students hanging around the corridors talking about exams or their future jobs. We have a library and some labs, but they are just functional spaces for studying, nothing overly fancy or high-tech. The benches are wooden and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a place where the work gets done. You can hear the traffic from the Main Road all day long, and the occasional train whistle from Ghanpur Station. We don't have a big corporate office; the principal's room is just down the hall from the main entrance. It’s a local college for people in this part of Warangal who want to keep studying without traveling all the way to a big city. It’s busy, a bit dusty sometimes, and very much a part of the local scene.
