Chintu Flour Mill

Chintu Flour Mill is located at H. No:-1-9 in Dabeerpet, which is in Khanapur, Warangal district. I spend most of my day inside the mill. It is a very loud place because the machines are always running to grind grain into flour. People from the village bring their bags of wheat or rice or chillies. I take the bags, pour them into the machine, and wait for the powder to come out the other side. It gets very dusty in here. My clothes are usually covered in white flour by the time I go home. Dabeerpet is a small place, so everyone knows where the mill is. They usually come by in the mornings or late afternoons. Sometimes there is a line of people waiting with their bags. I have to keep the machines oiled and working right, or else the flour won't be good. It is a basic job but everyone needs flour for their bread and cooking. Khanapur is a nice area but it gets very hot. The mill has been here for a bit and I don't plan on moving. It is just a small room with the big grinding stones and the motor. Sometimes children come with their parents and watch the machines. I just keep working until the last bag is done for the day. It is honest work and it keeps me busy. The dust is just part of the life here.
