If you head over to 2-10-92 on Ganesh Street in Jangaon, you’ll find us. Arun Engineering Enterprises is a small shop, and we like it that way. Ganesh Street is a lively place, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery over the years. We do engineering repairs and small-scale fabrication mostly. Our workbench is scarred from years of welding and hammering, and there is usually a coating of oil on everything. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a lathe and a welding torch. People from around Jangaon bring us all sorts of broken parts, hoping we can get them moving again. Sometimes we can, sometimes we have to tell them it’s scrap, but we always tell it straight. We don't use big words or try to confuse people with technical talk. We just show them what’s wrong and tell them how we can fix it. The shop gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for tea and sit out front for a minute. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we take the work seriously. We’ve built a reputation just by being there at 2-10-92 every morning and doing what we said we’d do. It’s a decent way to earn a living in Jangaon, and we plan to stay here for many more years to come.
