About Ramesh Flour Mill – Food & Beverages in Warangal Rural
I run Ramesh Flour Mill at H. No -5-25 in Madanthurthy. It’s right here in the Nellikudur part of Warangal. If you walk down the street, you can usually hear the sound of the machines grinding away. I spend my whole day covered in a fine layer of white dust from the grain. People bring in their bags of wheat or chillies, and I grind them up for them. It’s a noisy place, and it gets quite warm inside when the motors have been running for a few hours. I’ve been at this spot for many years now. Most of my customers are women from the nearby houses who need flour for their daily cooking. We talk for a minute while the machine does its work, then they pay and head home. I don't have any big signs or advertisements. The address H. No -5-25 is well known to everyone in Madanthurthy anyway. I keep the machines oiled and try to make sure the flour is ground just the way people like it. Some days are very busy, especially before festivals when everyone is making special food. Other days are slower, and I just sit outside for a bit. It’s a basic business, but it is important for the village. I like the rhythm of the work. It’s what I’ve always done, and I don’t plan on changing much. Just grinding grain and talking to neighbors day after day.
