Kamalgad Devrai Agriculture & Tourism Private Limited is based in the Taluka-Wai area, specifically at a place called Ulumb. If you have ever been to Wai, you know how beautiful the hills and the greenery can be. Our work is a mix of looking after the land and managing the tourism side of things. We have a spot at M. No. 65 where we handle the day-to-day operations. It is not like a standard office job. One minute you might be checking on the crops, and the next you are talking to someone who has come to visit the area. We have a lot of trees around us, and we try to keep the place looking natural. The air is much fresher up here than it is in the big cities. People come to us when they want to see a bit of the countryside and understand how things grow. It’s a lot of physical work, especially keeping the grounds tidy and making sure everything is running right for the guests. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly family and a few local workers who know the terrain well. Sometimes the weather gets really misty, and you can hardly see the road, which is quite something to experience. We just enjoy being out here in Ulumb and doing something that combines our love for the land with welcoming people who want to see it for themselves.
