We operate out of Plot No. 42 in the Gidc Indl. Estate. It’s a humble spot, just one of many in a long row of similar buildings. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much, except for maybe a few more trucks on the road than there used to be. Inside, it’s mostly one big open floor where we keep the machinery. We don't have separate rooms for everything; we just have different corners for different tasks. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps when we’re doing the detailed work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll often see my uncle or my son helping out with the packing. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know what we do. The office is really just a desk in the corner with a very old computer and a lot of ledgers. We prefer the old way of keeping track of things on paper. Sometimes the air is a bit thick with the smell of oil or metal, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We keep a few chairs out front for when customers stop by to chat. It’s a simple life here, just making things and making sure they get to the right person on time. We don't need anything more than that to stay busy.
