Our shop is situated directly across from the railway siding in the Dajipara area of Surendranagar. Being so close to the tracks means there is a constant background noise of shunting cars and whistles, but we have all grown used to it over time. The building itself is a sturdy structure that has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our mornings checking the schedule and getting the equipment warmed up. Surendranagar is known for its heat, so the fans are almost always running at full speed. There is a small chai stall just down the road where we usually go around eleven to stretch our legs. Dajipara is a busy part of the district, and there is always something happening outside the gates. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby area because we prefer to use every inch of space for our production and storage. If you walk in, you will likely see someone hunched over a workbench or moving pallets around. It is an honest day's work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. The floors are concrete and have their share of cracks, and the windows are high up to let in the light without the direct glare. We have a routine that works for us, and we stick to it. Most of the people here live nearby, so there is a real local feel to the way we run things at PITRODA UTILITY INDUSTRIES.
