Vardhman Marble & Ceramic

You can find us at Vardhman Place, right on the Highway Road in Tapi district. We are very close to the General Hospital, which is the main landmark around here. Being near the highway means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, but it also makes it easy for people to find us. Vardhman Marble & Ceramic isn’t a high-end boutique. It’s more of a warehouse style setup. We have large slabs of marble leaning against the walls and crates of ceramic tiles stacked up high. It’s a heavy business. Moving marble takes a lot of effort and sometimes a bit of help from a crane or a few strong guys. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually sit further back where it’s cooler. We’ve been here for a while, and the hospital staff and locals know us well. We don’t do any big promotions. We just open the gates and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive because of highway delays, but we just manage with what we have on hand. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t use any complicated sales talk. We just tell you what the stone is and how much we have left. It’s a practical way to run a business in Tapi. Our office chair has a squeak every time you sit down, but it still works fine for us.
