Maddu Super Market

Maddu Super Market is situated at 847/45 in Alamanda, Vizianagaram. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. We opened this place because we wanted to provide a reliable spot for people in Alamanda to get their groceries without traveling all the way into the main town center. We have a decent selection of grains, oils, and packaged foods. The store is basically a large room with shelves lined up against the walls. We don't have those fancy scanners, so we do most of the math by hand or with a small calculator. It takes a bit longer, but it works for us. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evenings while I handle the heavy lifting of the sacks during the day. We sometimes have some fresh produce from the local farms nearby if the season is right. The floor is made of plain cement and it can be a bit cool in the mornings. We don’t spend money on decorations or big signs. We just want to make sure we have enough stock for everyone who comes in. Sometimes the stock takes a few days to arrive from the city, so we tell people to check back later in the week. It’s a honest way to make a living, and we appreciate the people who choose to shop with us. We are just local people trying to run a helpful shop.
