We are located at D.No. 55 8 33 15 in the K.R.M Colony area of Seethammadhara. Vishakkha Home Spices Llp is a small operation, and we like it that way. Being in a colony means we are surrounded by houses, so it feels very much like a community business. We spend our days dealing with different kinds of spices that people use in their kitchens every day. It’s not a high-tech factory. A lot of what we do is basic and involves a lot of hands-on work. We have to be careful about the smells because spices can be quite strong, and we don't want to bother the neighbors too much. The building is just a regular house that we’ve converted for our needs. We have some space for grinding and some for packing. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big batch of turmeric or chili coming in, and the smells stay in your clothes for days, but you get used to that after a while. The people working here are mostly from around Seethammadhara. We don't use big words or have a "mission statement." We just know how to pick spices and get them ready for people to use. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the deliveries difficult, but we just wait it out. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We just focus on one bag at a time and keep things simple. Seethammadhara is a nice area.
