Yuvana Beayti Parlour

Our parlour is over at D.No. Mig 80/Iy in SFS Colony, which is right by the 2nd Bus Stop in Pothimallayapalem. If you know where the SBH is, we are right beside it, so it’s not hard to find. Being in Visakhapatnam, it gets pretty humid, so we try to keep the fans going all day. The shop is a straightforward space. We have a few stations for hair and skin work. It’s mostly local ladies from the colony who come in to get things done. We don’t have those big leather chairs you see in malls, just regular ones that work fine. The afternoon sun hits the front door sometimes, making the room bright. We keep our supplies on some wooden shelves in the back. It’s usually quiet during the weekday mornings, then picks up when the buses start dropping people off in the evening. We do the threading, haircuts, and some basic facials. Nothing too complicated. The floor has some tiles that are a bit worn out, but we keep them clean. We have a small radio that we play sometimes to keep the background noise going. It is just a normal shop run by normal people who know the names of the kids in the neighborhood. We’ve been here for a bit and plan to stay as long as the regulars keep coming back for their monthly visits. It is just a part of the daily life around the bus stop area.
