Modern The Saloon

So, we’ve been running Modern The Saloon for a while now here in Visakhapatnam. Most people know us because we’re right on the Main Road in Shriharipuram. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to Cormandel Gate. You can usually hear the traffic outside, but inside we just try to get the job done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days it’s quiet, other days we’re running around trying to keep up. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We handle haircuts and stuff like that. Nothing too fancy, just regular hair work for the people who live around here or work near the gate. The address is 530011 if you're looking on a map. People sometimes get lost looking for us, but if you find the main road, you’ll see us eventually. It’s not a huge place, just a simple shop where locals come by. Sometimes they stop in just to chat while waiting for a turn. It feels like a part of the community now. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. It’s just a place to get your hair cut without a fuss. We open early most days. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes the doors stick a bit. That’s just how it is in Vizag. Anyway, that is pretty much what we do here in Shriharipuram. Nothing more, nothing less.
