Virgin Saloon

Virgin Saloon is located on the Main Road in Shivajipalem, right across from Shivaji Park. This is a good spot in Visakhapatnam because a lot of people come by after their morning or evening walks in the park. I have been running this place for a long time. The chairs are getting a bit old now, but they are still very comfortable. This area is usually quite lively, and I enjoy seeing the mix of people. I get students from the colleges nearby and also older men who have lived in Shivajipalem their whole lives. We keep things simple here with just hair cutting and shaving. I don't bother with any complicated beauty treatments. I always keep a few newspapers on the bench so people have something to read while they wait. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on the Main Road is quite loud, but inside the shop, it’s just the sound of the fans and the scissors. I don't have a lot of staff, it is just me and one other helper. We work hard and try to be helpful to everyone. I don't use any fancy marketing or posters. People come here because they know what they are going to get. It’s just a normal, everyday business for the local community.
